Founded in 2007, Girl Scouts of Colorado is a social welfare organization that offers a variety of programs for at-risk girls. It also provides Daisy, Brownie, Junior, and Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts programs. The organization conducts training sessions related to the topics of self-evaluation and development and the practice of teaching skills. Girl Scouts of Colorado also offers programs that include leadership opportunities, financial literacy, and communication and social skills development. It provides outreach services for girls who live in migrant camps, detention centers and family shelters. The organization also offers summer day camps that include various recreational activities, such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, cooking and riding. It organizes fundraising events that offers financial assistance to program participants. The organization also provides food, clothing and feeding assistance services for disadvantaged people. It maintains its presence in Pueblo, Colo.
