Overall

I went to this doctor for my first pregnancy because I was first covered by babyyourbaby and her took medicade. I made an appointment and when I get there the girls at the desk are mad at me because he wasn't in that day, he was at his other clinic in af. I don't know how it was my fault that they scheduled me to come in that day. They ended up having me see the NP. I filled out paper work and they took my vitals and everything. The NP was great. I didn't know my last period or even a rough estimate so we guesses the due date was 7/14. She gave me the ultrasound and she said that the baby looked at least 10weeks. It was kicking and sucking it's thumb. Now I would say it was actually between 11-14 weeks. They scheduled me again to see dr.dewey the next week and made sure it was an actual day he would be there. The NP also told me if I need to to confirm if I have something, I am too embarrassed to say, to come it as soon as I think it is happening so they can test for it. When I did come they desk lady wouldn't let me because I didn't want to tell her or the people in the lobby what it was for and didn't care what the NP said or being discreet. I was never able to get tested.

I get to that nest appointment and they give me the same paper work to full out. I end up waiting an 1 or more. He walks onto the office and sees me. He asked if was alright If a student watches, I say yes. We go in and he reads my chart and asked my due date. I tell him and he asks my last period cycle. I tell him I can't remember and he says just guess so u guess a date. Then he says that would make my due date 7/24 (8 wks) and that there would be "nothing to see" then says we can listen to the hearth beat. We listen to it. I tried to explain to him that the NP said it looked at least 10 wks. He wouldn't listen. The whole appoint seeing him was 4 minutes. As I am leaving he is telling me when to come in again, I tell him I was going to see another dr my friend recommended. He asked who, I tell him and tells me how new that Dr was, as if she wasn't as skilled.

I thought dealing with them was over. I was told by the place I switched to I needed to go back over to Dewey's office and sign a agreement for them to fax over my paperwork. So I go over there and do that a day before and I tell them when they have to fax it over. The next day I am at the new clinic I switched over and they tell me they never got the paper work. So I call dewey's office and they said they can't find my paperwork or the release forms. And they ask me to discribe the lady at the desk I talked to that day. [They all looked the same] so I had to sign abother release form at the clinic I was at.

My new doctor was great other the the fact that she took dewey's due date seriously. I told her is was bases off a guess and not the proof of the ultrasound like the np did. At my 20 week ultrasound at the new place we finally found out that dr. Dewey due date was a month off, and my actually due date was 6/30. I ended up having the baby 6/20.

Anyways, dr.dewey desk girls are really rude and couldn't handle making my appointments or my paper work. Dr.dewey didn't listen and he ignored the ultrasound photo and the np's notes about my pregnanCy, and can't handle attending two clinics in to different cities. The np was the only plus, I can't remember her name sadly. I strongly recommend you go somewhere else.
