Established in 2007. ForTheLoveOfPawsRI has become a household name throughout the years, (as most of our clients are referrals), and one of the most popular coast to coast pet service providers in the USA. Fur-babies are our passion, rescue is our mission. Starting off as an Animal Rescue and then expanding a few years later to a world-wide pet service provider to cut our own transport cost down. For The Love Of Paws RI Rescue & Transport is one of the first to be established with USDA as a certified/ licensed Pet Transporter & Rescue. We have been safely and with tender loving care transporting your four-legged, (sometimes three-legged), fur-babies coast to coast since 2009. After ten long years we are now expanding once again. With all the love we have for animals, (mainly dogs), but we do love all animals, we have decided to open a Pet Supplies Plus Shop. Our goal is to find the most unique items out there. Although most of our items will be handmade, made to order items, some will still be manufactured & USA made. My specialties are pit bulls and senior fur-babies of all breeds. I have never met a dog that did not bond with me instantly. I am extremely knowledgeable in most breeds and most areas of the breeds. I do my best to learn as much as I can about every aspect of our fur-babies. Having hands on experience with over 3000 fur-babies throughout the years I have become extremely knowledgeable in behaviors, health issues, stress levels and etc. I know K-9 CPR, I also work closely with a certified dog trainer, veterinarians, (being a rescue also, I have several vets throughout the USA that I correspond with), I have read around 100 books on all aspects of our amazing companions any family could ever have, such as, "On Talking Terms With Dogs: Calming Signals, The Other End of the Leash: Why We Do What We Do Around Dogs, The Other End of the Leash: Why We Do What We Do Around Dogs, The Cautious Canine-How to Help Dogs Conquer Their Fears", just to mention a few. 50% of all proceeds will go towards helping homeless dogs & cats we find during our rescue road trips throughout the USA. Many pets are dumped in rest areas, landfills, neighborhoods and etc. All dogs and cats we find are brought to local vets for medical treatment and boarding till fosters or fur-ever homes are found. 25% of all proceed will go towards a "Charitable Fund" we created for low income, military families and seniors that need to relocate their pets but funds are a bit tight for them.
