I felt inclined to comment only because I felt they needed someone to back them up from the last review . I'm a local business owner in the same town, only I'm in the automotive field. I believe leaving reviews is a great way for people to find a new local business that conducts themselves ethically and suits them. Problem is, these reviews are a double edge sword, due to the fact that they are so easy to leave with the highest level of anonymity . I had a customer who left a review simply because he was unhappy with my price, yet that is only relative to what you want and get. Local people need to realize how difficult it is for small business to function in this state, nonetheless make a profit! I ate at Tony's with my family and found it to be a real value for your buck! It's location is convienent , yet parking isn't easy, which is challenging, yet they do deliver. I thought the pizza was awesome and they were kind enough to allow us to eat in for their 5.95 pizza special(which by the way, they make little to no profit with, considering cheese is over $3.00 a pd for grande) The restaurant business is not an easy business to manage. My family happens to own a pizzeria in wappingers and have been in this business for 40 years! Blood sweat and tears, and the food business continues to be hammered by costly ingredients and overhead! I've worked with my family till I was 25 years old, and then I opened my repair shop in Lagrange . I remember the hours, the time and effort to prepare, and ever more familiar with dishes, floors carpets and clean up! (I was a very fast dishwasher and pot scrubber!). Anyway, Bravo!!! Bravo to tonys pizza
pit for still supplying the area with old traditional tasting pizza , with quality ingredients , a tasty sweet tomatoe sauce, and excellent crust. It's almost the same taste as my fathers pizza, and that's why I like it!!! (It's also a minute from my house) very convienent !!!!
Cold pizza is still delicious, and to deliver a free pizza is pretty hard to accept. Remember the sign? " Would you like us to shoot the manager and close the doors, would you be happy?"
1 bad experience doesn't merit a bad review! Give them a chance to redeem themselves! It wasn't wise to refuse delivery, rather they should have offered a free pie for pickup only, but hey, it's a good pie, and they offered it for free! it's worth picking up!! Lets try and support our local businesses through thick and thin, because we need you to survive, we aren't offered bailouts!!! Lets leave reviews based on cleanliness and quality, rather than service or speed.
