John Ferguson is the Principal and Director of Ferguson Asset Management, Inc. He has been in the investment business since 1963 as an analyst, securities broker, investment counselor, and asset manager. He also served as a regional division manager for a major NYSE member firm. John graduated from the University of Kentucky with a major in Agricultural Economics. He has pursued advanced studies at Washington University, St. Louis University Law School, The Ben Franklin School of Accounting, and the Masters of Taxation Program at Southeastern University. John completed the Certified Financial Planner designation program.John has served on the board of numerous organizations, and is a member of the Endowment Committee of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. He has made hundreds of media appearances, and has been cited in the Washington Post, Money Magazine, and Assignment Small Business. He is a Rotarian and avid sailor.
