        We're here for your pet at any hour. You can count on us to care for your pet when your regular day clinic isn't open or if critical care is needed. We provide compassionate expert care for your sick or injured pet, and peace of mind for you. Our state-of-the-art, 24/7 facility is staffed by experienced doctors and nurses committed to providing the attention and treatment your pet needs. If your pet becomes ill or is injured after-hours, call: 207-878-3121. How to Help Your Pet in an Emergency: call ahead to alert our staff to the nature of the emergency. This helps us prepare to meet you when you arrive; saving valuable treatment time when minutes can count. Follow our recommendations on ways to assist your pet before arriving at the clinic. Please keep your pet and everyone else as safe and comfortable as possible. Please use a carrier if you're bringing a cat or a leash or carrier if you're bringing a dog. Let us know if you need a carrier or leash to enter the clinic, and we can provide one. Drive safely! You'll be safer and will minimize the stress on your injured or sick pet. Most of all breathe! We understand that it?s a stressful time. We?will do all we can to make you and your pet comfortable. What to Expect When You Arrive: you and your pet will be met by the front desk staff and a member of our medical team. Your pet will be taken to our treatment area for triage and you'll be asked to fill out admitting paperwork. If other pets are also in the clinic, all cases will be stabilized and prioritized based on our training, experience and the nature of the emergencies. Please be supportive of other pet owners and their pets. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Once your pet is admitted, a member of our medical staff will sit with you to discuss your pet?s condition and recommended treatment options and fees.         I had an emergency with my dog...

        I had an emergency with my dog, and went in. They said it would be between $700 and 1200, and they needed 700 down to save her. I took the last 700 in my account and they took her for two days, basically giving her 35 dollar bags of saline that cost 35 cents to buy. They charged me a surprising 1700.00 for the two days of saline, and I had to give them a check. I went home and found that there was going to be a delay getting some money I had coming into the account but I did my best. The check bounced, and I didn't call them back the first day because I got the message late, so they said they called the District Attorney on me. They woman was something that polite company requires that I not speak, but I see them as rip off artists on the scale of cops in a Tijuana jail. I swore to her that I would let my dog die before I would go there again. After talking to people I now know that a lot of people feel the same way about these creeps.
