Love LOVE love Dr. Michael

My son has been seen by Dr. Sonenblum since 2009 when I moved here. He is so kind, funny, caring, oh I can go on an on. Have recommended him to many other parents. As long as my son is old enough Dr. Sonenblum will be his pediatrician.

Waiting

I have been bringing all three of my children to PA since they were babies the staff is friendly & professional. My only complaint is the wait time you get there at your appointment time & you wait in the lobby for almost an hour before being seen like today. When you get in three back you wait 30 to 40 minutes just waiting on the Dr. I understand if you're seen 15 or 30 minutes after appointment time but longer than that is ridiculous and this is something they should do better. To me it seems like they schedule too many appointments close together. Of it wasn't for the wait time I would give them 4 stars.

We have been going to Pediatric Associates since our daughter was born. The staff is very friendly and doctors are great. They have extended weekday hours and even some weekend hours for sick children so it's great to be able to take your child to a familiar place vs the ER when the unexpected happens. My daughter has always felt very comfortable with each doctor and the fact that she is not afraid to go to the doctor is huge to me. They also take their time with you in the exam room, I've always had all of my questions answered and have never felt rushed.

I have been using Pediatric Associates since my children were babies. The hours and on call nurse were a huge benefit offered by this office that others did not have. With 2 asthmatic children, they have always gone above and beyond to have me come right in if needed. The staff works with you if there is any urgency to be seen as well. The doctors and nurse practitioners are amazing and the love they have for their patients shows from the minute they walk in the door. They spend ample time with the patients and are not rushed out..which is why sometimes there is a little bit of a wait. But I can appreciate that if I need the extra time, they will give it to me as well. Would highly recommend.

I have been taking my kids to PA since I moved to FL in 2006. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. The doctors have been very helpful and have always spent the time necessary to answer my questions. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is the phone system; I don't like it when I call the office in PSL and end up with an office in another part of FL. Would be nice if the wait times were a little shorter but I understand that sometimes can't be helped. I appreciate all the hard work of PA and will continue to go there with my kiddos.

I have been taking my child to PA since we moved to Port St. Lucie 8 years ago. They are great! My child has always been seen promptly and the care they give is beyond professional. My child feels comfortable and at ease when she has to go in to be seen for anything. They know her by name and my child is comfortable enough to greet her doctor with a hug. You can not ask for more then that when seeking a doctor for your child :)

I moved my children from their previous dr to Pediatric Assoc a few years ago and couldnt be happier. There isnt a Dr or Nurse in the office that I havent liked. They are always willing to help, answer any questions, and go above and beyond to get the job done. My 4 girls are always asking to go to the Dr. My 5 yr old had stitches taken out that the hospital messed up. It was a tramatic ordeal for her and Dr Leslie still handled it like a pro, even after that Leslie is still my daughter's favorite. My youngest daughter now 4 and we will be there until she is an adult.

absolutely LOVE Pediatric Associates!

Lets start by saying how great it was to meet Dr Michael in person the day my son was born! He was there shortly after his birth. Our following appts with him have been great! He listens to my concerns and speaks upon them. During a busy holiday weekend and them closing early, I was able to get my son in on a SUNDAY, LAST MINUTE nonetheless. Appointments are easy to make and their 24hr nursing staff on call is a great bonus. I moved here a few years ago and was shocked to find out that my pediatrician who has seen me and my entire family in NY, has one of his Drs in this office!!!!! Small world. I'm very pleased with their staff, cleanliness and overall the entire place! No doubt in my mind ....all of my children will be going to.Pediatric Associates! 10+stars!!!!

I took my children here and wa...

I took my children here and was immediately blown away about the amazing waiting room. Unfortunately that was the ONLY thing that's nice about this place. If i could give no "stars" I would! The staff were incredibly rude! The exam room was filthy! Used supplies and bodily fluids all over the room and the paper on the exam table looked as if it hadn't been changed in days! The entire visit was chaotic from the moment we stepped through the door. It seemed that no one knew what was going on and why we were there. I encountered at least 10 people while i was there and not one person smiled at me or my children, they didn't even make eye contact with us. They just barked off orders! My four year old needed vaccines (he has always been very good about getting shots) is traumatized now thanks to the overly aggressive nurse who gave them. She walked in, didnt say a word to us and proceeded to give him a shot. I informed her that he has a disability that causes him to be withdrawn and shy's away from people touching him. She just started yelling at him and grabbing at him until he was sobbing, Then said that she will have to get someone to restrain him, after I had offered to hold him in my lap. She said that was not allowed. She kept snapping at him to hold still and quit crying and he cried harder every time she yelled. Finally I picked him up gave him a big bear hug and told her to go ahead with the shot. And she stabbed him aggressively with the shot. The bruises from the shot are horrible. after we were done she just snapped you can leave now, hurry up. The only words that were spoken to us the entire time that we were there were: "Hurry up", "this way", "hold still", "don't touch" and "you can leave now." My oldest has an issue that is quite embarrassing to him and I requested that we discuss it without him in the room prior to the appointment. they kept bringing it up right in front of him. I kept saying i want to discuss this in private and they kept bringing it up. Soon as we got to the car my son cried from embarrassment. These people are heartless, cold and care NOTHING about children!! My children used to LOVE going to the Dr now they are terrified of it!

I used this Dr's office a few years ago when I lived in PSL and they were great! I have 2 children with complex issues and they never rushed us out of the office they took there time with my kids and me so we understood everything. There is normal wait times here it is like any peds offices, the best part of the office is the hours they have night hours, and weekends. They are always available to see when you need them. I can't wait to move back and see them again.

Go elsewhere

Followed my sons Dr. to this place and if his Dr. wasn't there I probably would have never stepped another foot in the door. The wait time was an average 30-45 mins. the staff in the office is rude, and it seems as if they treat the children like cattle, when the nurse couldn't give my son a shot she went and got assistance and the assistant was rude as can be and rough with my child, I just recently went to request some paperwork from them and they told me it would take 24-48 hrs. and it's been 4 days now and still haven't heard from them. Thank God his Dr. moved again as I won't have to go back to this office. Do yourselves a favor and find a new Dr. Office.
