Nick provides outstanding skills and service. He is an old school craftsman who values high quality work and does the work himself.
My husband and I moved to Oxnard in 2013 and moved into a fixer. We hired over 12 handymen to fix various problems with the house our first year. We were dissatisfied with all of them, since they didn't care much about doing high quality work. They blew in and out quickly. When we called Nick, per another website, my husband and I were delighted.

Nick did a small job for us and was able to fix a stairwell when three other contractors said it couldn't be done. Nick was very creative and thought of low cost solutions to problems. Nick does all of his own work, is cautious and careful. He's a grown-up who values a dollar. Nick respects everyone and is easy to work with.
Nick is very experienced in drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, stairs, trim, fencing, driveways and anything related to construction. Nick has a gift of figuring things out.
Nick served in the Army as young man and his level of professionalism and commitment to a quality job is evident. We decided to hire Nick to do all of our renovations and we were so lucky to book him to do six months of work. Nick brought back receipts of all approved purchases and was very, very trustworthy. Nick had keys to our home and always got the job done with a smile. He told us when there were obstacles and he always offered solutions and their costs. I can't recommend Nick enough for a small or big job. Nick remodeled 2 bathrooms, the full kitchen, pantry door, pantry shelving and flooring, staircase, all windows, slider, balcony, window trim, floor trim, garage; floor, cupboards and shelving installed, assembled a vinyl fence piece by piece, latch and gate and saved me time and money by inspecting another vendor's work and advising him how to correct several issues. Nick books up, so call and leave a detailed message. He will get back to you and he's worth waiting for.

I’ve called on Nick for years whenever I’ve had work to be done on my home in Oxnard. He was recommended by my mom who had a place in Hueneme Bay and she was a tough customer to please. Nick has remodeled my entire kitchen, building cabinets, installing electrical and plumbing, painting, dry wall work, laying tile and more. He has replaced termite damaged beams, and built a whole new overhang shade canopy on front of my house. Whenever something happens I call Nick first. When I get three bids, he’s almost always the best alternative. He works alone so it may not be the fastest but is the best price, excellent quality, and nicest person to work with. And I trust him with my home when I’m not there, etc. call Nick first..you won’t be sorry!
