Pompton Lakes Animal Hospital

I called at 6:26 friday september 26, 2008. office was closed. followed instructions for an emergency and the vet to call me back. By 6:40 my cat had passed away. As of now, the following monday, I still never got the phone call that maybe could have helped. I;m not saying that anyone could have helped her, but we'll never know. Unfortunately there arent any close 24 hour animal hospitals around so i was left with no options.

This vet is right around the corner from me so it was very convenient. I did learn my lesson though, I dont care how far a new vet is, I will never step foot into that place again. My family also, between us, have about 10 animals that we were taking there.

This was the first time a dog of mine needed surgery due to injury. Went to numerous other hospitals prior to coming here in order to pick a surgeon that was right for us. Met with Dr. Cattiny and he performed a thorough examination and determined our best course of action. Other hospitals told us they wouldn’t be able to schedule surgery until 3 weeks out, Dr. Cattiny made himself available to perform the surgery as soon as possible. He and his staff professionally and knowledgeably answered all of our questions before and after the surgery. 100% recommend this place. He really cares about the animals he sees.

We go to Dr. Cattiny for all of our standard pet needs, but when my pets have been sick he's come in for emergencies and sadly when I had to have pets put down when they were dying and in pain, he couldn't have been nicer or more understanding when we were so upset.
