Established in 1956, Alisal Elementary School is a part of the Pleasanton Unified School District, which operates various elementary, middle and high schools. It serves more than 700 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school provides special sessions in various areas, such as physical education, music, band and strings. Its staff includes various teachers, specialists, resource aids, speech programmers, counselors, psychologists, occupational therapists and custodians. The school s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, social studies, science, language arts and reading. Its facility includes a library that features an automated catalog and circulation system and electronic and multimedia resources.
