The Green Room

Let me begin by saying that I have been bartending in Atlanta for 6 years, I am VERY forgiving, and I tip ridiculously well (10 bucks for first round, 5 a drink after that). On my visit to Plattsburgh I stopped by the Green Room twice. The first night was alright, though I did notice that the staff was pretty rude, and very abrupt. The next night I didn't even want to go back but had to meet some friends. We waited 25 MINUTES trying to get a drink!!! My sister had time to wait in line for the bathroom, pee, and come back out and I still hadn't even gotten a "Hey, I'll be right with you". those bartenders move painfully slow, and spend more time chatting with their friends than serving drinks. We were about to leave when one of her friends asked why we were leaving, and we said 25 minutes and we still don't have drinks. He told us not to leave, that he knows the owner and he would take care of it. He introduced us to a short, obnoxious, Napoleon-syndrome type as*h ole named Chris Dumont. He told Chris that we waited 25 minutes and were leaving, and Chris replied "Fu *king 300 people in here what the fu* k do you want me to do?".



Listen buddy, you are the owner of that little sh it-hole. Great attitude. You don't EVER talk to customers that way because word of mouth is a bi tch. I have already compared stories with people that will never return because of you!! The place sucks anyways but to pis s people off so badly that they won't even step foot in there?? FURTHERMORE, you want to see high volume, you come to Atlanta and sit at my bar, I'll teach you how it's done. The Green Room is a joke.
