Poor maintenance, slow response and lack of attention to property are the primary concerns here. In an older building you expect certain inconveniences (terrible TV & internet options, older fixtures, etc) but the issues here go far beyond that.



There is only one maintenance worker on staff so most service requests require a contractor to be hired. Security doors/gates are regularly broken and no amount of reporting to the office leads to resolution.



Mold is also a big problem - I've had mold issues in my unit twice in the last 8 months and numerous other reviews mention mold as well. Drainage is poor in high-traffic areas so after rainstorms there are spots with standing water for 3-5 days afterwards.



When we moved in the rates were somewhat competitive but now the rent has increased significantly. If you love this area and are willing to pay rent in that ballpark take a look at Junction 15 instead - more contemporary building with much better amenities!

This complex does not provide access to a washer / dryer room. Many apartments do not have a washer/dryer hook up. If you're a resident here, you'll have to do your laundry at a public laundromat. It is very inconvenient. I can't wait to move.

I have lived here for and can give you an unbiased opinion. The apartments are nice but the management is HORRIBLE, I have an awful taste in my mouth and am buying out my lease. Here is my experiance:



When I first moved here I was quoted a good rate, and wrote a check. My check was cashed. When I went in to finalize the paperwork the price was $250 more for a smaller apartment. They said they had no record of the quote they had first given me.. Luckily I still had my copy. Later I was told they had water damage in an apt and had moved someone else to the apt I had signed for and were just trying to stick it to me. Since they had cashed my check and I had the paperwork I retained a lawyer and they decided to honor the first quote.



Fast forward. I wanted to move to a 2 bedroom, I go and get a quote for a price, and that night drop a check in the night box for the new deposit. I get a call two days later saying that the quote was incorrect and that they had just gotten my check and it was 30 hours later and the quote was only good for 24 hours. Oh, and the price is now over $300 more.



I was $6 short on paying water+rent (water varies) one month and I got my check slipped under my door 3 days later saying they could not accept partial payment, and oh by the way it is late now and I owe an extra $70.



Dogs regularly defecate in the hallways and it takes about a week to clean up. I also had an ant problem for a week before they did anything about it.



Internet and TV are through captive providers. Internet is Yignition and runs at 56k speeds. I could never play games or watch netflix/any online show. Cable you have to sign a two year agreement with Direct TV or no tv for you.



The management acts like tenants are a bother and a sponge to squeeze money out of. I have never been treated so poorly or been jerked around so much. Word of warning, I am buying out my lease. And that sucks because I like the location and the Dart proximity.
