All About Water Heaters

If you value accountability, professionalism, and trustworthiness in a business, then you should look elsewhere. If problems arise, All About Water Heaters (AAWH) will deny responsibility, deflect issues, and delay resolutions. Spend the extra money and look elsewhere for peace of mind.

AAWH replaced our water heater last quarter of last year. They told us over the phone and stated on the invoice that labor warranty and a permit were included. Neither were fulfilled. Issues arose after installation, and we contacted AAWH multiple times. They told us they will return, but each time they did not. AAWH delayed responses, stopped taking calls, and would eventually only text (of which taking up to 2 weeks).

We filed a complaint with The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners who informed and updated AAWH. AAWH finally filed a permit—months afterwards. AAWH texted us one time to ask if the issues were still occurring. They still were, and when asked about what will be done to help, there was another lapse of no response.

The board determined these violations: evading responsibility to a client, failing to timely obtain a plumbing permit, willfully or negligently installing a plumbing system that was not compliant with applicable plumbing codes, and failing to properly provide one or more items required for proper disclosure of the Board’s regulatory oversight.

The board helped for some restitution. AAWH appeared unannounced, saying they were here days prior. They dismissed recalling their poor handling and deflected the issues. They could not answer why they said they would revisit to check on their work but ultimately did not.

The restitution was essentially a refund. A resolution that could have been met long ago, especially if AAWH could not and/or would not return to check their work, regardless of the circumstances. This would have been the bare minimum of sensibility and professionalism, but, unfortunately, this was a bar too high for All About Water Heaters.
