Old Town Grill is the best!

Highly recommend making this your pit stop between the bay area and Lake Tahoe - heck, we drive up to Placerville just for a chance to eat at this place ~ hard to believe ~ it looks like a little diner, but the food is first rate! The specials are always very inventive and the folks who run the place actually want to make sure you have a pleasant experience. This is a 'must go' for anyone who wants a great lunch with awesome service!

Stopped in for a bite on the way home from a weekend in Tahoe. Wanted something more than commerical Mel's joint down the street for a burger. Saw 5 senior ladies walking out with smiles on their face and thought this is where I needed to be. Friend ordered the stuffed roasted red pepper, kalamata olive & parmesan cheese burger, and myself the blue cheese/gorganzola burger...and we halved with each other. Could not pick a favorite, but let me assure you, they were the best burgers I have had in my entire life. In my household, when I make something my husband likes he says "Baby you put your foot in that it tastes so good"....I had to tell the chef/owner the same thing. Outstanding, fantastic burgers.
