The Best Little Hair House in Pittsburgh

WORST HAIR SALON EVER. Turned my platinum blonde hair purple and paid a fortune for the worst hair extensions of my life. They fell out in days and paid over $500!!! I went back to complain that they were falling out and she told me that there was nothing she could do. So much hair was falling out that it looked like i got my hair cut in my car and in my house! HAIR EVERYWHERE!!! When I was there, 3 people called to complain about their hair services they got there!!! DONT EVER GO- YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! SMELLED, DIRTY.... GROSS!!!!!!

The owner is very talented and knows her craft. I can't say enough good things about this salon and her expertise. I had extensions put in and she did a beautiful job. For the first time I have long hair that could not look more natural

I always get my color done here it always looks fabulous!

I wouldn't go anywhere else! Prices are great and I always get the style I'm looking for.

The owner is the best~ that's the only person I go to! So that's the only stylist I can recommend even though a friend of mine goes to anyone and always seems happy?

IT IS DISGUSTING!!! They have a cat running around their dirty salon! The tanning bed is full of hair and dust balls. Do not waste your time or money. Gross.

COULD NOT PAY ME TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! 5 star service and low prices should I say more!!! I have been going for 5 years!! And I am a "real" customer! Go see for yourself.

I don't know who writes the "good reviews" but I too had a really bad experience with this place. The Health Inspector and the State Board Committee should see this place, because it is so dirty I dont think it should even be open for business. There is a lingering cat-pee smell, the floor is dirty and I don't believe any of the implements have ever been cleaned.



My stylist was nice but I passed on having my hair colored (which is why I went in there in the first place) because her hair was such a vibrant red and it looked like a wig that I didnt want her touching my color. She was so "white trashy" that I thought I was going to leave with a emo Bieber cut! I don't believe my stylist ever heard of "secret" or "degree" she smelled 2xs worse than the cat-pee & her teeth were as yellow as the yellow pages! She kept pausing during the haircut to chat with someone in the back room....I got annoyed and when I got home I cried my eyes out because my hair was 3 1/2 inches shorter than what I wanted! I didnt even bother to tip her....But I was tempted to leave a note "here's a tip: go to rite aid buy yourself a toothbrush and some deod."

I went to another salon about three months ago and they totally ruined my hair! it was broken off and cut all uneven!! My friend told me to check this place out so I did! i am so happy I went to this salon! When I came in I was greeted right away and they told me exactly how long I had to wait only 10 minutes!!!! I apologized for not having an appoinment and they said I NEVER had to have an appoinment! I could walk in any time as long as I didnt mind a wait or I could make an appointmet if I wanted too! What a wonderful idea! I used the 10 minutes to look through all the hairstyle books that were in the waiting area....that was nice too! Soemtimes wheni go to a salon the do not have any style books..strange I know?? I found a new style and the stylist actually sat down with me in the waiting area and discused my new style with me in detail!!! And there were other people waiting! She gave me 100% undivided attention and listened to all of my likes and disikes! She REALLY listened to me! I know this because she cut it EXACTLY how I wanted it!! I was SOOOO...... happy! Then a random stranger waiting for her haircut stopped me and said how nice my hair looked! I said I could not believe I actually got what I asked for! She said thats why she comes to the salon because its the only place that the stylists actually listen and don't cut all her hair off! The Kicker!!! I only paid $9.99!! Yes ten bucks!! Unbelievable??? Believe it!! The bottom line is it doesnt matter how much you pay its the people behind the chair!!! Holding the scissors!

Great cool shop! love the albums and the cool retro decor! the stylists rock! I get a choppy haircut and they know just what to do! Experienced stylist ...No snuffy snobbish atmosphere !! Fun Place to go and i love the cats! My hair thanks you!
