Its largest manufacturing plant, located in Harvey, Ill., is the permanent home of the company s global operations and the city where the company was founded. The company was created when it patented the in-line Flo-Coat galvanizing process. Its location in Harvey is also the corporate headquarters for Tyco Electrical & Metal Products, which is comprised of raceway products that include conduit, wire and cable products; galvanized steel tubing for automotive applications, original equipment manufacturers and agricultural applications; and construction materials in North America, the United Kingdom and Brazil.
