On the provider's first attempt to install our new front storm door, he hung it upside down. In an effort to be nice, I proposed that instead of him buying a new storm door for his mistake, that if he would repair the door and correctly hang it at our basement door entrance, I would pay the cost of another new storm door for our front entrance. Lloyd agreed to the proposal and put in writing via email with the subject line being remediation. Lloyd arrived on time to correct his mistakes, and hung both doors. On a brief inspection, I thanked him. Later that week when I was carrying groceries in the house, I noticed that the door only opened less than 45 degrees instead of the normal 90 degrees. This didn't seem correct, but I went to Home Depot to confirm my suspicions. The suspicion was correct as the display model opened 90 degrees. When I emailed Lloyd to correct this, he refused on multiple occasions. Today, Easter Sunday, I wake up to find the front storm door ripped off its hinges leaning against the railing on our porch.
