Kater-Crafts Bookbinders

Over the years we have had a number of antiquarian books repaired and/or refurbished by Kater-Crafts. Their work is outstanding! What these folks can do for any book is amazing. They breathe new life into a damaged book like no other can. We would not think of taking our treasures any place other than here.

These people did an AMAZING job in restoring an old textbook in which my 92-year old aunt had written a chapter. This book was important to her - and they made it look like new. I highly recommend their service and skills. If I ever need to restore another book, this is the place to which I will return. Their office has an almost "hushed like" reverence for books and the written word. A great find!

I had a family bible restored that was in bad shape. The bible is over a 100 years old. The front cover was off the bible and the binding was falling apart. When I recieved my bible back, I could not believe how it looked. I was very, very surprised how beautiful the bible looked. Kater Craft did a A+ job. If you are looking to restore your family bible. It's always a worrisome moment when you turn a precious book over to a binder for repair - often the result is disappointing. Not here. I had a tricky and complicated series of requests for repairing an antiquarian book. They understood - and the the job was done correctly and with subtle artistry. Kater-Crafts Bookbinders did two projects for me and in each case they exceeded my expectations. Judy Fox showed me how to format my short story for binding, turned out great. Doing a 100 page photo album of my family pictures was amazing and the quality of the printing was comparable to my Epson Photo Printer.

This place is amazing! I was trying to get something done as a gift. The owner carefully listened to what my needs were and walked me through a number of options.
