I called in for a repair and told them exactly what the problem with my 52" Samsung TV was, a DP Chip needed to be repaired, a common issue these TV's have. They said they would have to pick the TV up because the repaired could not be done in my home and the total cost with pick up and replacing the part would be $300.00. I asked again and they said no more than $300.00. I thought I was getting a bargain because I had already called the Geek Squad and Samsung directly and it was more in the 400-500 range. Well if it sounds to good to be true IT IS!!! They called me two days later and said the repair would be $500 plus tax. Big difference from the initial estimate. Since I felt they had lied to get my business I asked them to bring my TV back. They scheduled me for 1pm on friday and by 4:30 (after my 2nd call) they still were not even on their way. The guy on the phone explained that he didn't have enough people to help and had the nerve to ask if anyone at the house could help unload the TV and bring upstairs. Oh, this after they charged me $100 for pick up and diagnosis (which I had already told them). I didnt get my TV that day after wasting my Friday afternoon and vacation time but instead they delivered it the next day. When we opened the back part of the TV dustballs came flying out which means they never even bothered to check it out. Bottom line is they were dishonest from the get go and even when I called them out on their lies they refused to refund my money back. Great way to run a business!
