Chrissy's Flowers

I ordered a fruit basket for my Mother In Law for the death of her Mother who was 103. My order was placed online with Fromyouflowers that choose Chrissy's Flowers as the florist to make and deliver the basket. My Mother In Law was mortified when she saw the arrangement. It looked like the fruit was tossed in the basket by a 3 year older and the plant that was put in the basket looked like a plant from the grocery store for $2.99. All the fruit and the bottom of the basket was covered in dirt. I spent $55.00 for this basket and my Mother In Law said she could tell it didn't come from my "regular' florist. I was traveling at the time and couldn't get in touch with my regular florist due to the time change so I ordered online...biggest mistake ever! I called the florist and they apologized and said they would make it up by sending a small flower arrangement to my house in lieu of the fruit basket rather then offer me a refund. I was ok with that thinking the arrangement would be fabulous. Well, I just recieved the "apology" arrangement and that even looks like it was picked up from a city corner vendor. My 3 year older could have done a better job. I'm more appauled that this was their way of "making it right". Terrible business all around, didn't get it right the first time and still couldn't make it right the 2nd time. What a joke! They should be embarrassed to call themselves a florist. Manayunk could do without them!
