        BHSI, also known as Behavioral Health Special Initiative program, is administered by the Philadelphia Mental Health Care Corporation. The program offers funding support, assessment and referral services to individuals with substance abuse problems. It also conducts clinical background checkups for people with mental health issues. BHSI operates an intensive case management unit that provides public education programs at health fairs and community organizations. The program offers service planning, goal setting, linking, monitoring, advocacy and coaching solutions through the Office of Addiction Services Case Management Unit. It conducts clinical evaluations for forensic clients and identifies community-based treatment sites. BHSI works with the Forensic Intensive Recovery Program.

        Casemangers are nice people but if you think they are their to provide services to people in need think again they are their to provide provide service to the rehabs their goal is to get you to signed up for ssi and spend alot on rehabs that are paid for by are tax dollers their are many services they can provide that are more helpful to make client self sufficant but will not good luck don't waste your time with bhsi it will be a road of false promises
