        Overall

        The office was at first courteous, but the work they did on my car was very poorly done. They serviced my air conditioner and flushed my radiator. Unfortunately, they over tightened a clamp on the radiator and cracked it. They either did not notice or just did not tell me. The next day all of the coolant leaked out and my car overheated leaving me stranded 20 miles from home. To their credit, they sent a tow truck and replaced my radiator at no charge. However, when I picked up the car the second time the ac was not working. They said it was a coincidence that the compressor had just gone out while they had the car. I took it to another shop where it was discovered that Firestone had not properly connected a pressure sensor switch on the compressor. When I called to discuss this with them they were extremely rude and accepted no responsibility. So far, I cannot prove that they ruined the compressor but the way they treated me when I called to discuss it with them was completely unnecessary. I was being kind and asking them to consider any responsibility at all in the situation. I have used them several times before but after seeing the true colors of the assistant manager I will no longer use or recommend this store. Do not use Firestone at Stonehill in Pflugerville.
