Mario's Famous Pizza

Absolutely Horrible. Our local school had a fund raiser night at Mario's Perth Amboy so I figured I would try them out and support the school, what a waste of $16. I ordered onion rings, a tuna sub and a medium pizza. The onion rings were burnt and rubbery, the pizza was mediocre at most but the tuna was atrocious! Their tuna sub consists of cheap canned tuna, no dressing, mayonaise, nothing, slapped on a roll with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Gross! We will never visit them again, I considered going back and asking for a refund. Disgusting. No wonder it was empty on a Thursday night.

I really love this place! The pizza is great and is always fresh. Their wraps and dinners are also very yummy. I would definitely try their sandwiches and wraps, but my favorite is the their thin crust grandma's sicilian pie. It is made with fresh mozzarella, basil and crush tomato sauce. Definitely worth giving it a try!!!
