My son is my whole world. While going through my divorce I could not find a preparatory school that was affordable for a single mom. The best ones where the same price as a semester at a state college. But "day care" simply stuck him in front of Dora the Explorer and told me he was learning Spanish. Every time I went to pick him up no matter the time of day the teachers had him in front of a TV. I searched for a school with a NO TV strong education, and time for play curriculum. I found it at Applegate Farms. They have a fully organic farm where he plays with animals. He gets tons of outside play and activity's everyday, lots of vitamin D. He loves his teachers and they really love him. The encouragement and rewards they give for potty training have him going to the big boy potty at home all by him self FINALLY! Last night he used the sign for "more" when he wanted more food at dinner. He just turned 2yrs old and he knows his right from left his front from back and his reading and word comprehension is outstanding! We will not be leaving this school till he starts kindergarten and he is too old to stay and even then we will probably come back for visits!
