Spotless Auto Detail

I went for an alignment the day after I put my TEIN suspension on my 1998 Honda Prelude, mint condition.Naturally when you change the height of the car you'd do this. I was recommended to go here by some Arabic shop 2 blocks down Getty Avenue. The owner was working on my car, I first noticed a problem when he needed to position the car forward a few inches to turn the alignment heads... He pushed my car in nuetral from the bumper under the taillight by hand instead of driving the car up a few inches. In the process, he popped the bumper out. As I witness this, I politely say can you be careful you're loosening the bumper. If you go any futher it'll look sloppy and I'll have to pay to get that detail corrected.



I'm aware that sometimes mechanics can sabotage your vehicle if they take offense to somethings just like restaurant staff and food... and I'm VERY knowledgable than your average customer. Hell, if I had the equipment to do the alignment I would have done so myself.



Long story short, i take the chance and grab a bite to eat for 5 minutes and when I return my rear alignment was complete in like 5 minutes after it took 1 hour to complete the front. (Red flag)



I pay and the owner says My tie rods are loose and he'll give me a break if I come back to fix it and wont charge me the alignment again. (Red flag #2) i just did the suspension and didnt see any issues with my tie rods. And I find it funny that supposedly BOTH were loose the next day. The tie rods werent touched and weren't loose.



Also, before I drive off, he says oh watch your side skirt it's loose. I open my door and grab it... It completely falls off to the touch. Wow!!! (Red flag #3)



Now I'll admit. My side skirts were a little loose, but they were secure. I check them daily because I recently tried to change them for fiberglass ones and ended up being satisfied with the stock ones. So i put them bsck on with a few screws and zipties to hold it. When it fell out, the brand new screws i had put in were all gone, and the zipties were cut, sliced by a knife it seemed. (Red flag #4) all except for 1 in the back.



I asked him if i could borrow a drill so i could put it on myself again. He let me borrow it, and i also asked him if he could cut the rear the ziptie he pulls out a small pocket knife and quickly slices it off so i can put it back on again.



THEN it all started to fall into place and Add up!



I looked at all the zipties they all have the same sliced cut on them. None were scratched or worn or dragging, or anthing, none of them slipped out or anything and why were the screws unscrewed?



The mechanic cut my side skirt from it's secure hold. Albeit "ghetto ziptied" it was on there and there was no reason for it to look sliced.



Apparently the me hanic took offense to me caring about my bumper and cut my side skirt off so that when I left it would fall off, and I'd run over it and destroy it.



I immediately told the other workers what this mechanic did and they looked at him with that look like "really bro? He caught you.."



We started to argue and ultimately I threatebed to get the cops and a police report involved. He said he had cameras and when I asked for him to review them with me, he backed down and said he'd put it back on "No charge"



My warning on this review is, DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this place! THEY WILL SABOTAGE YOUR VEHICLE!



DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.
