Young Elementary School is affiliated with the Pasadena Independent School District, and offers classes in grades kindergarten through five. The school serves more than 600 students and offers subjects, such as reading, writing, language, mathematics, science, social studies, computer and physical education. It has various science, art and drama clubs, and also offers activities, such as spelling bee, and poem recitation, musical band, and an orchestra. Young Elementary School also organizes various school activities, such as science, book and writing fairs, cultural programs, and field trips. The school also has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities. Its sports activities include softball, football, kickball, and track and field. Young Elementary School also provides health care, immunization, transportation and meal services to students.
