Staff and nurses are rude and without compassion.
The place is rigged more for their fake reality TV Show, and they could care less about real patients. Basically, a total fraud.
If you need real help, this is NOT the place.
If I could have given this place a negative rating, I would have.

they ask for a 1000-500 deposit that should be refunded that is not ever refunded !!! even if your insurance covers the cost of care....

Facility promises doctor but prescriptions for patients are not always available
younger aged patients are influenced negatively by other drug addicts
staff is fake and manipulative, many times inappropriate during therapy
success rate is under 9%
no consideration of people's (patients ) jobs or careers
most of the money goes to management, not patient care only during intake are they friendly, after admit phase they take your money and forget about you : ) waste your time and money on more dedicated rehab-centers

The Most Hazardous Place to go For Recovery--Offers No Recovery.
Pasadena Recovery Center, aka Pasadena Recovery Center LLC. Is an absolutely dangerous place to go yourself or send a loved one or even just an acquaintance.
It's true that they do lie and steal and cheat youboutbof vast sums of cash, even if you do have insurance that covers the stay. The owners and staff illegally require you to leave a " deposit" that " will be returned as soon as they your insurance is verified."
Bull. Plain and simple, they lie.
Ask any family or parent that has paid that deposit. They will tell you that they never got their deposit back. Better yet, just google Oasadena Recovery Center complaints. Then you' ll know not to ever go their. There are far too many good, reputable addiction centers here in California, for every budget. Therefore, do not be fooled into going to this hazardous waste dump.
As for cleanliness? The health department has been called on this place owlish over 417 complaints within 7 months.
There is frequently fecal matter and urine in the patient showers( some addicts have major mental health issues-- and for money, the owners accept anone who is willing to pay to get rid of their damaged family members for a while). Such hazardous waste is never cleaned up by the housekeeping or other staff. Often times, a kind hearted patient will clean it, because what else can be done when you need to take a shower?
As for the food, all the food is donated(another tactic for the owners to cut corners and profit more) and most times that food is stale and expired past its due date. I now this for fact, because I have helped the volunteers unload the trucks after returning from the food banks and I have many times seen the expired dates n the food packages. Ther have been at least 49 cases of major food poisoning and hospitalization reported at this place. The staff: ex- addicts that sometimes are sill addicts and still have addict issues and mistreat the patients and even inappropriate,y touch them and sexually harass them. But if you are staying there and are a victim and try to call the police to report it, they will turn off the phones and lock the doors. Yes, seriously. Then the staff and owners will call the police and claim that you tried to call them only because you have " mental issues" . And that's how they sweep it all under the carpet.
Enter this place at your own risk. Remember that you and your loved ones have choices as to where to go for treatment. So think wisely.
As for the phony promises they initially make tomgetnyou in the doors and sign their contract? Just that: phony promises , lies, and manipulation.
All the people and all the complaints on the net rent cannot be wrong.
