Wrongful Death
A high profile, racially charged, wrongful death action brought by a family against our client’s bar and security guard for negligently allowing a patron (the decedent) to be stabbed to death by a fellow patron and known white supremacist. Plaintiffs demanded policy limits of $1 million before trial, and $38 million from the jury. Defendant offered $500,000.00 before trial. Plaintiffs’ counsel was one of the best trial lawyers in the country.
