I spoke to the general manager Jason on March 3, 2015. He is refusing to work with a prior/current customer. In March of 2014 a temporary government agency utilized a commercial building for a short term 8 week lease. AS of April 30, 2014 the building sat vacant. It was an over sight and no one (me) canceled the waste removal service. The accounting department has received the bills and been paying them. In March 2015 it came to my attention that this vacant commercial building has been paying for services that they haven't needed. While it is agreed that the over site was on the building owner (my) fault for not canceling service Sanitation Solutions is refusing to work with me. They DO NOT charge for dumpster rental....(We had a 3 yard dumpster). We paid a service for 8 months for GARBAGE REMOVAL on an empty dumpster. I WOULD NOT expect the company to foot the gas bill or even a minor charge for the dumpster rental. I asked if they could refund ANY of the money paid for the months that the dumpster wasn't used. Jason absolutely refused. He continuously repeated he doesn't know if anyone else was using the dumpster although I kept telling him that no one was using it. GO TO ANY COMMERCIAL building in the United States. You can clearly tell when a dumpster isn't being used. Unfortunately people aren't always the cleanest and you will always find garbage around on the ground. I find it pathetic that he wouldn't refund at least half the money paid out to reimburse for months that service wasn't necessary. Granted there isn't anything anywhere that would state that he should HAVE to refund but I believe it is good business practice to try to work with your customers, especially when potentially they made need your services again.
