Alas Cargo

I called on 10/22/15 to arrange pickup of a balikbayan box. A woman answered & had a pretty bad attitude at the onset. She told me she had me scheduled for pickup on 10/23/15 between 12 noon and 5pm. I read the information back to her and she confirmed. I called again on pickup day to confirm & was reassured pickup was on the way. I called closer to 5pm and no one would pick up the office phone. Well, 5 pm came and went and no pickup and no courtesy call - nothing! Finally, at 6pm, the driver shows up. He showed me his schedule which showed pickup from my home between 6pm & 8pm. He was very embarrassed and quite upset that no one had called to notify me of the change. He said he had notified his office of his schedule the night before. All I can say is that Alas Cargo gives Filipino businesses a really bad name. Their office staff obviously does not care about customer service. They are discourteous, inept, inefficient and highly unprofessional. DO NOT use Alas Cargo!

i have been using this company to send my balikbayan box to the philippines 3x already and evrytime i do i just get so frustrated and sucked!

Their rate is very imposible...it doesnt go less but more and more expensive everytime i do business with them.

The man that picks up the boxes is not very helpful at all. He charged excessively for any bulge he feels and see!!!reall sucker!!!!ALAS cargo charge $80 flat rate for a jumbo box to visayas,they charge me $160 !!!so ridiculous!!!why would i pay such???am so pissed! reallyyyy!i m so desperate to send my box to my love ones back home but not to suckers like ALAS CARGO!

Fortunately a friend told me of another cargo shipping who only charge me $70....no matter what the bulge in my box was...the best deal is they talk to me like they really care!!!

i wont recommend ALAS CARGO TO ANY OF MY KABABAYANS
