Landmark Condominiums

Don't go near it. The buildings are old and made of cement blocks, so there are huge moisture problems in every building. Bugs infest the beach and porches, and buzz around our faces and bite us constantly when we're outside. Practically everyone owns a dog, and they bark and poop constantly everywhere (the residents can't even clean up after them, even though the complex puts out dog poop boxes for people). I can smell the paper mill that they talk about, and the water looks like a lake, not the beach: it looks dirty, and the "beach" they have is dirty. It's covered in dead sea weed, as well as the fish heads of whatever they're catching and cleaning over at the boat slips. I could hear my neighbors all the time, banging around at all hours of the night. I can't even imagine what people do to make noises that loud, that constantly, and I've never experienced anything like it anywhere else, so the walls and ceiling must be paper thin. I had to throw away items I brought into the apartment that became covered in mold. The floor of the closets were always damp. The laundry is always broken and barely working. When it rains, water pools up, so we couldn't even come and go without walking through inches of puddles, getting our feet soaking wet, and then having to clean the floor of the apartment (thankfully, tile, for this kind of living). The kitchen is too small for more than one person to be in at a time, and the dishwasher is so small that it couldn't even hold what we used for dinner.
