She returned to her home state to launch her career in medicine, completing her medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was drawn to pediatrics because of the opportunity to work with families as they grow and develop over time. Ear Infections
We offer same-day sick appointments and daily walk-in hours. These make it easier to receive care when your child needs it. We provide quality care for illness and injury including fever, flu, strep throat, asthma exacerbation, burns, colds, conjunctivitis (pink eye), ear infections, respiratory infections, headaches, vomiting/diarrhea, injuries, rashes and more.
Family Practice
Donica joined Lafayette Pediatric Clinic in 2020. She was the first woman in her family to go to college, receiving a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences and a master’s in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She is a certified nurse practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (ANNP) and has more than 20 years of experience, including extensive time in obstetrics and family medicine. Donica lives in Coldwater, Miss., and enjoys reading, traveling, and eating chocolate.
