        The Steele County Detention Center, governed by Steele County in Minnesota, houses various inmates. Established in 2003, it operates under the Steele County Sheriff's Department. The center works towards the public safety and uses video visiting applications. The Steele County Detention Center also has detainee phone systems and issues arrest warrants. It offers anger management, adult basic education, chaplaincy, chemical dependency, work release and domestic abuse programs. The center additionally provides various volunteer opportunities. The Steele County Detention Center has a library and more than 150 beds. It offers the Inmate Worker Program and visitation services for criminals relatives and friends.
