Johnson County Key Service

This place is Great. I live nearby. When I have extra key's made, (in case I loose them) I take it to them. Takes less than 5 min. In and Out. Just like I like it.

I had some extra entry door knobs that I found for my house and the keys did not all work together. I took it in and it took less than 15 min. To make 2 knobs and 2 deadbolts all key the same.

Another time I took my disc lock for my inclosed trailer to Low's and Home Depot and Ace. They all told me that they did not have that key. That is the first time I thought to go to Johnson County Key. I got 8 keys made that day. Less than 10 min. Been using them ever since. I am going to buy more disc locks for my trailer (lost the whole lock) I will buy from Johnson County Key. Wait for my next review.

I am unsure who the previous two reviewers dealt with, but my experience was some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I called in the morning on a tuesday, around 11:15, and got a hold of Ed. This man seemed surly from the get-go, but i needed a lock smith and he had been recommended to me, so i didnt worry about it too much. He quoted me a price, high but w/e, and told me he would call me that afternoon to confirm when he could help, and that he probably wouldnt be able to get to me until the morning. Ok so, this is where joco key started getting very poor. I did not get a call on tuesday, at any time. I checked my call logs, but no dice. I didnt worry about it, and decided to call him in the morning. I called him, again at around 11 on wednesday morning. He cut me off mid-inquiry and told me his guy called me yesterday (tuesday) and that the only time i could have gotten in was when he called me. I again checked my call logs and began to say that i hadnt gotten a call. He againt cut me off and said, now getting loud and aggressive, oh yes, he did. I began to say that, no he hadnt, i just checked my call logs, and he AGAIN cut me off, said "oh give me a break" and hung up. DO NOT USE THIS LOCKSMITH, use cadillac jack. He's cheaper and MUCH better customer service.

I couldn't be more satisfied with Johnson County Key Service. I recently had to use their services when my my laptop combination lock got stuck while it was attached to my laptop. Another locksmith service told me that they couldn't break the lock off and that my best solution would be to try all 10,000 possible combinations to open my combination lock. When I took my laptop to Johnson County Key service they were able to promptly remove my combination lock from my laptop by breaking it off. Their staff was very friendly, and I couldn't be happier with the service at their store. I'd highly recommend Johnson County Key Service in any situation which requires the service of a locksmith.

I was very pleased with the response to my request for service. I needed someone to re-key my home and also open and re-set the combination on my safe. I was very pleased with the service and the price. I felt as though I was treated fairly, by the company, and would highly recommend them.
