103 Ultra Lounge

Had to meet clients in Orono Maine and stopped by Elysian Lounge/CURVA nightclub-restaurant located just outside the UMO campus on RT 2 (Park Street/Rangely Road intersection) in Orono. The set-up was great; reminded me of a big city lounge, very clean and sophisticated.



The manager was in the store and set up the 3 large screen TV's and the front sound system to accomodate our meeting. Even though it was actually a fairly large group the staff quickly rearranged the larger booths to seat my party and we had a great tasting menue accompanied by several excellent selections from the ice cold draft beer offerings. Apparently they can open up the nightclub area and cater/host groups up to 300 on reasonable notice.



Food was great and the price was really alot less than I expected. I didn't get to see the nightclub while it was busy but did get a tour and I am looking forward to future visits.



Highly recommend this place. The Certified Angus Beef Burgers and chili were particuarly good. This is my new regular business/entertainment stop when I'm in the Bangor/Orono area.

Went there for dinner after doing some work in Bangor. Great food btw, pulled pork there is as good as it gets east of Dallas. Other guys had lasagna and it was good and huge.. prices were great and beer was cold.

Pretty amazing specials on happy hour drinks and wings too...



BEST part of the night though was after dinner. They have a huge dance floor and that night the place was rocking. Compliments to all the pretty girls!!!

Sometime around midnight, J. COLE & Jeremy Greene showed up and did a live show.

Talked to the doormen and they said Curva is even busier on Saturday night with a DJ and/or Live Band...

Amazing. Had a great time and will definately go back for more.
