Panther's Den Preschool & Childcare Center

In the beginning I loved the daycare, no complaints. Everything was normal I'd be told if my child had gotten in trouble or if another child had had done anything to him. Didn't ask too many questions, just got the basics, because it's not too far fetched to see a 3 year old playing rough at times. My wife on the other hand likes to hear the details. She spoke with a few different people and it seemed that none of their stories matched up at all. I personally thought it was just because some of the ladies weren't the ones to be watching him directly, granted it is all of theirs jobs to watch and keep these children safe and under control. I tend to be a very passive person, but after he came home with a busted lip and no one could tell me how it may have happened, or they tell me that "he isn't under my care during the day", I'm going to be angry with them and their lacking childcare service. On top of it all though, I occasionally get called into work and will need someone to watch my child. They do supposedly have a rule that I've been verbally told about, in which you can't bring your child in between 10am and 1pm, due to that being the children's nap time. I have had them take him in during this time a few times so that I could go to work and several times where they did not. First, I feel this little "rule" is just an excuse for them to be lazy, because there is no way those children are going to all sleep for 3 hours out of the day. My child isn't the only one that will be up and they are ignorant and/or understaffed on top of being lazy if they don't have the capability to put him in a different room away from the sleeping children. I pay them enough, so why should they cost me more money? I know this is a bit of a rant, but they need to get their business straight, because as it sits they are just a money scheme in the form of daycare. I would never recommend this pitiful excuse of a child care service to anyone. It may be close to home, but there is a big difference between convenience and quality.
