Buddys Flooring Carpet One Floor & Home

My husband and I went to Buddies in search of wood and tile flooring to see if we could find a better deal than the big chain, home improvement stores. Not only was their selection far better than what we had been looking at, but Buddies was able to beat their prices too. It was obvious to us that they wanted our business and valued us as customers. Their customer service was A-1 and we have recommended them time and again to anyone we know looking to upgrade their flooring. And I LOVE my new flooring! So much easier to take care of than carpet!!!

Very disappointed, to say the least. Bottom line: DON T shop here. Their fair prices are conveniently created to rip you off, and customer service is awful, rude, and cocky.



Was originally quoted $3.50sf for a floor tile from our sales rep who a month later no longer worked there (I d flee this unethical place too!). When we came to purchase, our new rep, Diana, re-quoted us over $5 sf, and pretty high numbers for install and demo (I work as an interior designer and am helping my parents with their project). After my Dad called to tell Diana he could do the demo to remove that cost, and is there any way to get the price closer to a $5k total, she miraculously came up with a qt that was EXACTLY $5k, sans tax, and the tile price also came down to $4.89sf.



When I contacted her to tell her our original quote (from only a month prior) was $3.50 sf I was told Sorry, this is the price.



I contacted the manufacturer directly, got in touch with their recommended retailer, and what do you know?? Was quoted the $3.50 FAIR price. Clearly realizing Buddy s was ripping us off, I gave them a last chance.



I contacted Diana first, explaining the above. Was rudely told that the price wouldn t budge. Then spoke to the manager, Juan, and explained the same in the kindest way possible at this point, asking wanted to know (A) why the price had changed, and; (B) what the actual best price was that they could do. He pretended to help, only to leave a very rude voicemail that, Sorry, this price that Diana quoted is Buddy s fair price.



Bottom line: don t shop here. Custom service is awful, and their fair prices are conveniently created to rip you off.

I have been looking for flooring for 6 months. I have been to Orange County, San Fernando valley and elsewhere looking for a good deal on flooring. I noticed Buddys Flooring Outlet on their website and visited the Ontario store. Incredible! They had so much inventory and choices and their prices were 1/2 other flooring stores I visited. The store is a huge warehouse with pallets and pallets of choices. The salesperson who helped me had installed hardwood before and helped my husband with installation questions. He was knowledgable and not pushy.

Anyone looking for hardwood, laminate flooring or ceramic tile would not be disappointed. I know I bought hardwood at wholesale prices.
