Riverbend Campground & Canoe

Like the other gentleman on here, my family and I had a horrible time here. I guess not much has changed in 3 years. I myself didn't sleep at all the night before due to the people 2 campsites down from us. Music was blaring all day and WAY past the 11 pm "quiet time" that is said to be a rule there at Rippling Waters. The group was out of control... They were even using a TASER on eachother!! The owner (Dan) came around and even said "Thanks for being patient with your neighbors" after the first night there and as we were trying to sleep our second night, it was the same as the first! There was so much swearing and rudeness that we packed up that same night (at 12:30 am) and Dan came around again and said that "drunken disorderly isn't a crime in this campground". Sad that the owner didn't do more and sad that my family vacation was RUINED because the owner chose the other, larger group over my family. Obviously, they are all about money. NOT a family campground like is advertised. I will NEVER go here again, and neither will anyone i know! People already asked me if I had fun and if they could take their family there and the answer was a resounding NO!!

This is definitely not the family campground they advertise as. We just got done spending a weekend there. 2 groups of roudy people kept the other 70+ sites awake for both nights. Complaining about the noise and swearing did no good. We were told they were not able to contol the behavior of their campers. It is unfortunate they have these views since it is a nice camp ground. We just wanted to warn others before they have their family vacation ruined by roudy partiers.
