Jane's Gym

Jane’s Gym has changed my life! Not only do they offer teacher discounts, but they also offer amazing childcare! My children love going to see Annie, Abby, Betsy, Shelby, Rosie and Katelynn! The instructors are top notch and always so friendly! They genuinely care about your success! They answer all of my questions about nutrition and form! They love their “job”! I often come in feeling drained and leave feeling like I could conquer the world! Jane’s is my safe haven! It’s always clean! They offer 24 hour access and you can even use an app to scan in. I could go on and on for hours, but if you’re a woman in the Desoto county area looking for a safe, no judgement, FUN, empowering group to workout with JOIN JANE’s! You won’t regret it!

I’ve always HATED working out. But, after I saw a special happening at Jane’s, I decided to join, even if that meant I skulked in at night to be alone. I finally got brave enough to attend a class, and WOW, my life has never been the same. I quickly found a community, my confidence, the courage to push myself to try newer and harder things, and the support I’ve never had in any gym. Absent were the judgments, the negative messages, the discomfort and instead I found warmth, encouragement, acceptance. Working out became less about something to do to punish myself and more about a celebration of what my body and mind could do- a reward for me and my health. Not only did I lose a lot of weight, but I found a love for fitness and an incredibly supportive and uplifting community, which in turn helped me find new ways to love and accept myself. While Jane’s is a smaller gym, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the equipment and facilities. When I tell my friends how much my membership is, they are FLOORED by what a bargain Jane’s is, and they are always updating the equipment! The Jane’s staff are by far the most generous, loving, talented, and supportive group of women I’ve ever met. Not only are these women well trained, rigorously certified, and incredible fitness and nutrition mentors, but they are also among the most encouraging, giving, patient, and talented people I’ve ever encountered. They make classes fun and engaging, cheer you on and offer encouragement in and out of class, model safe and correct form and kindly offer corrections and modifications to ensure you are both proficient and safe, and consistently bring high energy. All fitness levels, all ages and life experiences are welcomed- you are celebrated for your efforts, not your capabilities. This is an environment where you feel safe and celebrated. I’m excited to show up every day to work out with my friends- who support me, inspire me, encourage me, and hold me accountable to be my best self.

I have been a member @ Jane's Gym for 5 years now. I love that they have so much to offer and they have the BEST staff and trainers! Come by and check them out! You will fall in LOVE WITH JANE'S GYM!

Do yourself a favor and join the Y. If could give less than a star I would. Haven't set foot in Jane's Gym since 2013. Was told I had a month to month contract. No, it's a two year contract. I moved 23 miles away. Am now being told my membership will be canceled as of 11/2016, and I'm responsible for payments until then. Good luck with that Peak Payment Solutions!

The girls that answer the phone lies and the assistant manager was very rude when I was talking to him trying to explain my situation I would not recommend anyone join this gym!!!!!!!

I was told when I signed up that you can take tanning off whenever you would like . I told them that I only tan 3 months out of the year at the most because I have a pool to use in the warmer months. When I tried to take tanning off I was told no that I had to wait for my 2 years to be up before I could take it off . I told the lady on the phone that I was lied to when I signed up and the owner got on the phone and demanded me to apologize that I said he lied before he would take anything off . This place is very unprofessional . I do not recommend .

The girl that signed me up lied and said they didn't have anything less than a 2 year contract. My friend signed up a month later with a year contract.... Now I'm stuck for another year and a half, because the company that does their billing makes it close to impossible to cancel a membership. Inconvenient and not worth the drive or money. Definitely won't ever recommend this place to anyone or ever sign a contract with them again.

I wanted to take the time to write because the review that was written before if nothing that I have ever experience!! Let me begin by saying kristi and Jennifer are wonderful! They are great trainers and motivators!! They go out of their way to help you!! If your looking for a gym who cares about providing you a great workout and just cares about you then I would highly recommend Jane's Gym! My girls and I love it!! Bravo Jane's Gym staff you deserve 5 STARS!!!

This gym roped me in with a 16 week program making me think it was a group thing and we would have monthly weigh ins and would all motivate each other and that I could cancel the membership after the program. However, I was responsible for keeping up with my own weight, never had a group to motivate each other or anything. At the completion of my 16 weeks, I tried to cancel and was told I couldn't because supposedly I had not followed the program and missed 2 days. Of course it is my word against theirs and since their system didn't log me in, I couldn't cancel. The monthy fees are $40 along with a $35 sign up fee and twice a year $14 upgrade fee. I have never had a gym charge extra to upgrade equipment, that's what monthly fees are for! I urge you to please think twice before joining this place...the employees could care less about anyone after signed up.
