Unlimited Services was nominated for the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Award in 1997. The company produces custom wire harness, cable and control panel assemblies for the off-road equipment, emergency, heavy-duty truck and telecommunications industries. In 2001, the company expanded its Oconto, Wis., facility to over 63,000 square feet to accommodate its growing business and provide the necessary resources to its customers. In 2003, it purchased the operating assets of Trans World Connections, including manufacturing operations in Lynchburg, Va. and Guaymas, Mexico. These locations operate as Trans World Connections, a division of Unlimited Services. The company has also implemented flow visual systems, JIT, Kanban, TQM, teams, empowered workforce and gain sharing programs. Unlimited Services is a privately-held company.
