Red Cap Cleaning

Been going here over 10 years for shirts, suits and dresses. Always great. Never a problem.

I took my 1 year old sons coat here to be cleaned. The coat is navy wool with white toggle ropes. When I picked it up the white toggle ropes were dyed blue and dingy. They tried to fix it and were unable to do so. They offered no refund other than the 8$ it cost to clean it. I would not recommend this cleaners and would tell everyone to look else where for dry cleaners that knows what they are doing and values their customers property more.

We took my prom dress to red cap cleaning to have a small stain taken out to which they said there was no guarantee they could get it out. Picked it up a few days later to discover that there were more stains(and more noticeable at that) on my dress than when we dropped it off. We went back to ask them what happened and the person replied with "Yeah we said no guarantees." No guarantee the stain would come out, not that you wouldn't put new ones on. The dress looked better before we took it to be spot cleaned. Terrible customer service. Will never go back.

We used this Red Cap location for a while and were very pleased with the service until we received a shirt back with holes in it. The holes looked as though they left the steam presser on too long and they were so obvious that we couldn't believe that they didn't notice it. We find it hard to believe that they missed such a huge mistake and wonder if they ignored the problem in hopes that we wouldn't say anything. We called and spoke to the manager and she initially tried to play it off as if the holes were already there and that it wasn't they're fault. We ended up getting paid for the shirt (less than what it was worth) but the situation is over with and we have never returned. We believe we may have continued to use them even after they destroyed our shirt accepting that it was a one time incident but we were very displeased with the manager's attitude about it. It's too bad because their prices were reasonable and they sent out monthly coupons.
