Founded by Dan and Kelly Osterhout, Kelly is a certified teacher with a Masters degree in Education, K12 Tutors has always used proven educational techniques to instruct children. They believe that, although many teachers did an admirable job in the classroom, many children did not learn well in traditional institutions. They believe that a child's strengths and natural ability needed to be the foundation of learning. At K12 Tutors, your child is seen as an individual, and natural strengths are identified and built upon. All of our certified teachers subscribe to the same philosophy. Our certified teachers are experienced and go through a rigorous screening process before joining our team. Our learning center is clean and quiet, offering an environment that makes it easy to focus. We strive to create a stress free environment by designing our learning center with comforting colors, comfortable furniture, and a comfortable climate. We make sure distractions are removed. Individualized attention ensures that your child remains engaged. K12 Tutors focuses on building confidence, motivation, focus, and problem solving skills. We set ourselves apart from franchises and other centers by educating your children with only certified teachers. Teachers share successful strategies with students so they can succeed on their own.
