(Background: My dog stayed at Lucky Dog as a guest of a rescue organization before he came to me, so some of the staff already knew him before I brought him there.) My rather large, active, and somewhat neurotic dog came home from a stay at Lucky Dog yesterday much happier and calmer than he was last time I took him to a (different) kennel. He craves human interaction, and I think he got that at Lucky Dog. The staff genuinely care for him, and acknowledged that he was wildly happy to see them when they came in Monday morning, after their early Sunday closing. By the time he came home later in the morning he was already relaxed and happy. He settled in back home right away without any signs of elevated anxiety or excessive attention-seeking. A happy dog is a lucky dog indeed! From now on, I consider Lucky Dog his family away from me -- I will always use Lucky Dog!

i love this place! i have taken my dog in over half a dozen times so far and its great. i think one of the things i like best about this groomer is that she doesnt over book her day which would lead to my dog being in his cage and at the groomer for way to long. she schedules a managable amount of animals each day which leads me to believe she doesnt put the almighty dollar above everything else. the cut is always perfect and my dog is always relaxed and happy when i come to pick him up. he has a history of seizures so i am always very cautious about where im taking him for care and grooming. i would highly recommend Jo's for anyone with a nervous dog or a dog with any health issues and this is a very low stress environment for your animal. the price is right and the service is amazing!!! by far, the best groomer i have used in OKC by far!
I always take my Schnauzer and other dogs there. Never have any problems. They have been going there for over 10 years. Ive taken my dog to Petco and Petsmart when I moved, And always had problems, plus the dogs hated it a lot. They would start barking at the groomers and one of them always pooped when he saw them. But never at paw prints. Yeah they get a lil sad when I leave them, but they like it a lot better!! Plus its cheaper. $30 for a Schnauzer cut. And to this day they still keep an index card on file of your dogs info and grooming history, and when you bring them in, they pull out the card and ask if you want the same grooming as last time. I always say yes!
