Michael P Berman PC

I am writing to both correct and counter the review written by Chris J who happens to be my son. My parents were among Michael Berman’s first clients, and remained clients until my last remaining parent, my wonderful dad, passed away a year ago at the age of 97. My folks loved Michael as a son, and trusted him implicitly, which is why Dad made him Co-trustee with me of his estate trust. Michael, because of his affection for my parents, has not charged me a penny for doing a Herculean amount of work this past year on getting the trust settled, paying the bills, setting up bank accounts and other things too numerous to mention. My son’s assertion that Michael was not honest in his accounting could not be further from the truth. Chris J does not realize that the the money he mentions is mine....my proceeds as a partner from a partnership that sold a specific property. Chris J is due only a small percentage of his grandfather’s estate proceeds from that sale, as the majority of even those funds was willed to me as the only surviving child after my beloved brother passed away. I can state in unqualified terms that there is no one more honest, and with more integrity than Michael Berman and his whole firm. I don’t know what I would have done this past year without Michael partnering with me to navigate the enormous tasks that have to be done when a loved one passes. I could not give a higher recommendation to anyone looking for a meticulous, trustworthy, knowledgeable CPA.

Mr. Berman was entrusted by my grandfather to carryout his trust wishes upon his passing. Unfortunately for me he never supplied a comprehensive inventory of my grandfathers finances as was required. He also failed to report actual sales figures of my grandfathers assets by over 2 million dollars. I wouldn't trust him with my families financial well being ever. BEWARE!
