        Kindred Hospitals continue the care that short-term hospitals provide. We offer high quality post-acute hospital care to patients with medically complex conditions. These patients are critically ill and have few care options left; they come to us because they require aggressive, specialized care and a prolonged recovery time beyond their stay in a traditional short-term acute care hospital. Our patients have serious medical conditions, often many at the same time, requiring a coordinated, specialized approach, directed by physicians, to meet their daily medical needs.

        I was a patient at Kindred Northlake Hospital. I had a very good stay for the most part. As for Michael Thompson he was a five star. He went above and beyond to talk to me when I told him about the rough patches they were fixed. Also, the nurse Veronica, she was wonderful. She is for sure a five star; all the way, the nurse TJ, the nurse Mary, the nurse Jude, and last but not least the housekeeper Joann is all five stars as well. Michael Thompson is not only was he a good talker; he also got thing done and he knew how to speak to people. Even the nurse Mohammad, he was great! He did everything and was so kind, he was also one of a kind; just great. With these people this facility was made to be a very nice place to receive care. I would like to acknowledge a very special person, Preston. He has been such a wonderful person since the first time me and him meet each other. Thank you all for a wonderful stay here.

        Overall

        The facility is clean. Staff are kind. Food is better than most hospitals I've been to. Seems like a very caring environment.
