Great company!!!!! Always on time and they do the best work I’ve ever seen

We hired Scott Munyon, principal owner of supposedly in business "Seasons Landscape". When he came for the first time, he was very nice to talk to, gave reasonable estimate and hence we started the job with him. Although that experience was short lived as every subsequent trips he made up stuff, charged us double the amount from which he started the job. We understand that some of the things cannot be predicted however his practices are totally untrustworthy and dishonest. He NEVER EVER WILL BE ON TIME, or DO WHAT'S EXPECTED OUT OF HIM. HE WILL COME WITH $HIT LOADS OF EXCUSES for WHY HE COULDN'T COME AT THE COMMITTED TIME or Da Da Da! There is so much to talk about this guy that I almost feel like hating myself that why I did not do a background check on him prior to him starting. Speaking of b'ground check, I asked him after being frustrated to the core that 'hey, give me at least 3 of your clients name so I can do a reference check. He tells me that I do not have my clients names or numbers on my phone! btw, he claims to have around 300 clients and been in business for 21 years. Upon further pestering, he wrote 3 client addresses asking me to drive past by and verify for his work. So one day, I actually drove by and all were FAKE addresses!
Long story short, we agreed to not have any business with him and surprisingly he agreed in writing to refund our money ($1300). That's another story now. He kept giving us dates to refund but never did. So, finally I had to actually file a police complaint to recover the remainder of the refund which he kept postponing by either making his father ill (in hospital excuse) or his kids tuition excuse ... So, finally when I lodged an official complaint at the Egg Harbor P.D, he got scared and came running to the P.D., and settled the final balance.
In between, he replaced a valve which was broken and we had to spend another $500 to get it fixed. After the trip to the PD, Scott comes with me and makes his innocent face 'Oh, this can't be broken - I'll get it replaced by the shop I purchased it or will refund you the money'. He takes that part with him and NEVER came back with or the money. So, he I consider it stolen now.
For heaven sake, let your landscape become a desert but do not hire this man from Seasons Landscape, EHT, NJ. He may be a smooth talker but he is totally dishonest and unprofessional. He does NOT know any of the workmanship he claims. He could never show me his business license. If you have more questions you can also reply to this comment with your email and I'll be more than happy to discuss everything that I know abt him. If you have read this review, I am glad and if you still decide to hire him, I wish you luck. If you do not want to feel cheated, robbed of your hard earned money, pl stay away from him, his services - you will be up for all sorts of run around.

Finally, if he's in business for last 20+ yrs. w/ 300+ clients, you'd expect other landscapers to know or heard about him - none in our neighborhood we've spoken to know the man!

Third, our experience is between Oct. 2013-2014 but another customer of his randomly contacted me today to share her frustration on how Scott is ripping her old friend. I am extremely troubled by this, and hence decided to update my review to reach more ppl. The man didn't change even after being taken to the Police. Overall, from our initial conversation. The Owner Scott was very outgoing and personal, upon meeting him and his crew they went right to work while he stayed and we talked for over an hour on exactly what he would be able to do for my entire yard. After being let down by previous landscaping terrible companies, it was refreshing, being able to have a professional business owner who kept everything very professional for once and was able to answer all my questions and ideas on some up coming projects that my wife and I are ready to tackle come spring. I rate 5 stars all the way

I needed a complete redesign of my front and back yard. I needed sprinklers, sod, shrubs and plants in the front and back. I also needed to address some issues with draining in the rear yard. I installed Sod in the front and seed in the the back.

Working with the owner Scott was easy. He provided ideas to save money and solutions to problems specific to my design. He saved me money by suggesting we seed the back yard which grew nicely with the sprinklers. We arrived at a fair price and the work was done with great care. All of the plants, grass, and shrubs are flourishing. I continue to use Season's landscaping for my routine maintenance needs.
