The Room Organic Spa

Awesome! I had a massage, mani & pedi today and this is what I have to say...



While I'll admit this place is owned by friends, all biases aside, it is by far the zenith of any traditional nail or massage salon. Let me highlight some of the best parts:



My massage (introductory price of $49 for an hour) was beyond amazing. The masseuse was professional, thorough, and nice. And I LOVED the hot towels she used to wipe off the lotion when she was finished. I felt very "cared for". In addition, the massage area is beautiful, the music is great, and it smells yummy.



The mani and pedi were perfect, and I loved the fact that there was NO CHEMICAL SMELL whatsoever. Their nod to "organic" means my skin feels clean and smooth - not due to harsh chemicals and uberscrubbing. The lotions, the polish removers, everything was free of that horrid smell that makes you wonder if getting a manicure is really good for you.



Clean, clean, clean. As I know the owner is a stickler for cleanliness, I was relaxed because I knew I wouldn't be picking up any nail or massage related illnesses that sometimes plague establishments that aren't that rigid.
