If there could be a rating without stars, then that would be the rating that this business deserves. They make claims as to their abilities to perform services, charge you for it only to left literally in the dark. Without power that is. Had a Honda generator serviced (routine service and a new battery) but now that I need it with the power out, the battery is dead and now the generator which has worked flawlessly in the past isn't putting out the power that it always has. It now barely lights a couple of lamps whereas the house was set up to power all first floor lighting, kitchen appliances, furnace and well with a few outlets on the second floor. Not now. Need to have it serviced again by someone that actually knows what they're doing. Don't use this company

If you're looking for a independent small business that sells quality power products, stands behind them, listens to their customers and delivers a level of service quality that was , frankly expected in the past .... but so rarely delivered today visit Seacoast Power Equipment. And here are a few reasons why:



" In mid may I purchased a commercial grade Stihl FS 250 Weed Whacker. They directed me to this higher horsepower trimmer in order to efficiently maintain a new 4 acre property. The "weed whacking" job needed to be done the same day so they expedited the purchase process and provided a hands on " How to Use Demo " in the parking lot.



Off I went and around 6 PM I ran into some equipment difficulties regarding the trim line spooling properly. I went both to Stihl's hard copy manual and corporate website to try & fix the machine. I strongly believe companies & store owners must stand behind their product. Therefore at the same time I sent off an email to the two new store owners , who gave me their business cards at time of purchase - nice touch !



At approximately 8PM that same night I received a return email from one of the owners of Seacoast Power taking responsibility, apologizing for my inconvenience and offering some solutions for my equipment problem. I stopped by first thing the next morning and met with the head of their service department where I received a hands on demonstration on how to spool the trim line properly. Net/ net the machine was fine , I needed some more training !



And to end this factual sales and service experience the owner of the store emailed me two days later to make sure all was operating properly.

Buy a Honda, just not here....

Unless you don't mind being lied to by salesmen, and then being called a liar by the owner, don't buy anything here. Buy a Honda product, just don't buy it here.
