Horrible ... Took $$$ for 50+ guest for a destination wedding and later on cancel all their reservations and kept over $ 65,000 of their money and she's missing!!!

Horrible! Had destination wedding in Punta Cana, had guests book thru Terry. Several bad experiences:1. 2 couples arrived to the resort with no reservations because she spelt their names wrong so had to cancel and rebook, but rebooked them in Mexico. So then spent the first 6 hours of vacation trying to call Terry to correct the reservation, and all she did was blame other people with no appology.2. Charged another guest someone else's deposit that wasn't even connected to us at all. Was a reservation to myrtle beach. Then said she corrected it, but 3 months later no correction on the credit card bill.3. A couple that reserved their trip together were seated apart on the plane. Terry told them to upgrade their tickets so they could sit together and she would send a check in the mall for the difference. 2 months goes by and no reimbursement check. Numberous calls to her office, with no response. Had to go personally to confront her about it and again no appology.4. She is supposed to book travel from airport to resort. Many guests had no transportation booked. 5. Many guests lived out of town. She didn't have any itinerary ready until 2-3 days prior to the trip. Also expected everyone to go to her office during office hours to pick it up. Was unable to email. If booking thru her, I would be very careful. Especially giving credit card info. You would think with the technology we have today and how easy it is to just jump on the computer and book a trip that she would be extra diligent about her customer service as it doesn't really seem like travel agents are necessary any more!

I would give terry herself no stars if I could paid for a cruise in full on day of booking 5 days before I'm supposed to leave I call my cruise ship for reason why I haven't received emails and guess what no reservation was made for me !! Oh wait there was butt she cancelled my trip the next day !! Why did she do that I have no idea take about being stressed and aggravated before going on vacation had to go to her office for her to fix it and yes she did butt her excuse was she was trying to upgrade us to what it was never booked it's crazy the amount of excuses u will hear from her mouth never again will book it myself

I have been booking trips / cruises / AI Vacations with Terry's Travel for several years now. I have never been more happy with all the details, dead on descriptions of resorts, no hidden extra costs and best of all personal attention that you get from her travel agency. I have booked 2 vacations this year one to Aruba in Jan in which we loved it so much we bought a vacation home with the resort, and, we just came back from a 6 star resort on the Maya Riviera, we have been there several times but this resort was just breath taken and we received a free resort upgrade when we arrived. I would highly recommend Terry's Travel for all your vacation, travel or just weekend getaways.
