Our Core beliefs: Our core beliefs are founded on the Holy Bible (King James Version) as the inerrant, infallible, and inspired, Word of God. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven where He sits on the right hand of the Father and is now our High Priest and Advocate. We believe in the sanctity of marriage between a natural born man and a natural born woman. We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man's works. It is available to all who have faith and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We believe that baptism is by immersion and the Lord's Supper is a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for man's salvation. We believe in the personal, bodily, imminent, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that His Second Coming inspires believers for dynamic and zealous life and service for Him while waiting for His return. The world searches for love based upon a limited understanding of what true love is. In order to truly understand love, we must accept the Lord Jesus Christ as I Lord and savior, and establish a personal relationship with Him. Love is an attribute or characteristic of the Lord. There is no true and greater love, then the love of God. John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The living presence of the Holy Spirit in believers leads to Christ like virtues within us. The fruit of the Spirit is the result of the Holy Spirit's presence and working in our life, molding and shaping us into the image of Christ, as maturing believers. The fruit develops gradually, and is the basic criterion of the development of spiritual life and character. Galatians 5:2223 (KJV) states, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Love is the first fruit of the Spirit. In John 13:3435 (KJV) Jesus states, A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
